On March 2, 2016, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh inaugurated 125 centers including the Upazila ICT Training and Resource Center for Education (UITRCE) building, Sarail, Brahmanbaria under the Bangladesh Bureau of Education Information and Statistics (BANBASE) under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. On the ground floor of this 2 storied building with 4 storey foundation there is a combined office room and a waiting room of Upazila ICT Training and Resource Center for Education and Upazila Secondary Education Office. UITRCE has its own server room on the second floor of the building, a training lab with 24 computers for training, a cyber room with 5 computers, a guest room with 2 beds and a conference room with a capacity of 30 people. UITRCE has been instrumental in building skilled human resources and improving the quality of education through training of ICT teachers in schools, colleges, madrasas and technical education institutes of Brahmanbaria District Sarail, Ashuganj, Nasirnagar, Kasba, Akhaura, Brahmanbaria Sadar and Vijaynagar Upazilas since 2016.
